Saxo VTS? What kind of car? From the first years of release this car perfectly showed itself in many forms of motorsport ! I'll tell you the story of how I met him , and who , for me this was the " mysterious " saxo? Back in 2008 I was looking for a car since he was a student , did not have much money , and what to buy , I did not know ... The plans were Alfa GTV, Fiat Cope, Honda Civic, Peugeot 206. Like a fast, small and inexpensive car. Appropriate and live specimen was difficult to find , but here I was lucky and now the story of the first acquaintance with saxo. I somehow came to the training of maneuvering , and there rode two SaxoVts, and I had the courage to ask for a ride ! And what do you think ? After I passed , I was overwhelmed with the most unearthly emotions! Manageability like karting , excellent dynamics across the range, I do not want to get out of saxo! As a result , a week later , I bought this car ! My first car ! Meet - Saxo VTS very rare car in the former Soviet space ! Two days after the purchase, I went to the Republican contest for high-speed maneuvering ( sprints ) ! I will not describe how they have been , but I was filled with delight , though, and took the last place ! In 2009, still managed to ride a few competitions where we certainly got on the podium. At this point, the car was completely stock . Since 2010 I started to have minor improvements : gidroruchnik was installed , modified intake pipe " type cold intake ," from the collector edition overcooked ( straight pipe with a diameter of 2.5 inches ) is allowed to disperse all saxo to 100 km / h in 7 seconds and pass 402 meters in 15.00 seconds ! In 2010, all it allowed me to become the champion of the Republic of Belarus on high-speed maneuvering and win drag races in its class. In 2011 it was decided to buy the "evil" trees, and do detuned engine. Everything was bought and installed. Now the motor spun up to 8500 rpm. Course time was reduced to 402 meters 14.6 seconds. , But there was a big minus in - lost torque on bottoms and saxo driving only after 6000rpm, which I really did not like so we drove the entire 2011 season was not special awards , but I did not last coming ! Past the podium we never flew ! I've been thinking how to prepare saxo to 2012 and then after watching videos on the Internet about how turbosaxo stalled four assists , I wanted to build such a machine ! Began digging on the internet and realized that neither Russia nor Belarus or Ukraine - no such projects ! Only the English resources , as the British are very fond of hot hatch , information and projects there was a lot that I helped in the construction saxoturbo. In this config , I again confirmed their title in 2012 by high-speed maneuvering .
In 2013, we got a new 1/ 4 mile 12.9 seconds. RaceAmericana 1.2 bar , acceleration to 100 km / h in under 5.3 seconds. Unfortunately at 2 bar and did not have time to drive - Seasonal ended . But we managed to become champions in the Republic of Belarus in drag Racing in class FWD Street!
This car is very competitive in its class and even higher classes , and in many types of motorsport !
Saxo for me became part of the family ! We traveled a lot , and every day I drive it around town . This is a great lighter, which gives a light with many traffic lights.
