Je me doute bien que peu vont traverser la Manche, mais ça donne une idée des résultats obtenus compte tenu des montages choisis...
Voici d'ailleurs le détail de leur 5 stages de préparation pour tu5j4/tu5jp4 :


New Citroen Saxo VTS & Peugeot 106 GTi tuning packages
Pug1off is delighted to announce a range of dyno proven, great value tuning packages for the Citroen Saxo VTS and Peugeot 106 GTi. Power increases over standard range from 18 to 90 bhp more than standard!

PEUGEOT 106 GTI / CITROEN SAXO VTS 16v STAGE 1 TUNING

The Pug1off Stage 1 package involves the fitment of our entry level 264/256 duration camshafts with an up-rated fuel pressure regulator, giving gains of around 15-18bhp over standard. This work can be carried out in roughly 5 hours on a while you wait basis, at a total cost of £595.00. (Including parts labour and VAT @ 20%)

PEUGEOT 106 GTI / CITROEN SAXO VTS 16v STAGE 2 TUNING
The Stage 2 package has been developed for those customers who wish to maximise power gains whilst retaining the stock inlet manifold and engine management system, whilst enjoying up to 31 bhp than standard! Pug1off and Catcams UK have worked together to produce a pair of "743" camshafts that, in back-to-back testing, produced 4bhp more than the previous "708" profile and as of January 2012, these are our preferred option.
The engine management system has been carefully re-mapped by Pug1off to optimise fueling and ignition with the new camshafts, plus provide a more balanced idle and extended rpm limit @7800rpm.
The test engine was then fitted with a ported and polished throttle housing, the results of this test can be seen below, peaking at 151 bhp @ 7700rpm:

The package therefore comprises of the 743 Camshafts, Pug1off custom ECU re-map, plus a ported and polished throttle housing. This work will take up much of a working day, but can be performed on a while-you-wait basis. The package is priced at £1095.00 (Includes parts, labour and VAT @ 20%)
*Customers without a tubular exhaust manifold may wish to convert at this stage for an additional fee of around£300 fitted.

PEUGEOT 106 GTI / CITROEN SAXO VTS 16v STAGE 3 TUNING

The popular Stage 3 tuning option for TU5J4
engines has been developed to maximise
power potential without modification of bottom
end parts such as pistons etc. The package features
a pair of 264 duration Newman PH3 camshafts,
ATPower direct-to-head throttle bodies and an
Emerald K6 Managment system.
Each car is individually mapped on the rolling road,
customer are welcome to attend. A well kept used
engine will produce around 165bhp similar to that of
the vehicle below.

This work cannot be completed during the course of a working day, we therefore recommend that the vehicle stays with us for one week, ie. from one saturday to the next. Customers are welcome to take advantage of our free courtesy vehicle. (*minimum Third Party F&T required).
The total cost of this package is £2900.00 (Including parts, labour, vat and mapping)
*Customers without a tubular exhaust manifold may wish to convert at this stage for an additional fee of around£300 fitted.
*A gasflowed cylinder head can also be added at this stage, bringing the total cost of the work to £3825.00

PEUGEOT 106 GTI / CITROEN SAXO VTS 16v STAGE 4 TUNING
This tuning package is for the serious track day enthusiast or rally competitor.
This is a full engine rebuild featuring the following:

-CNC re-bore in a choice of sizes
-High compression forged pistons
-ARP con-rod bolts
-Race Bearings
-Steel head gasket
-Flowed cylinder head
-Hydraulic rally camshafts
-1 Piece oversize valves
-Uprated valve springs
-ATPower DTH Throttle Bodies
-Emerald K6 engine management system
-Big injectors
-New water pump and cambelt
-All usual seals/gaskets/fluids and filters
-Rolling road mapping

Your car will need to be left with Pug1off for 1-2 weeks, the build is also available in similar specification for the TU5JP4 C2 GT / VTS engine, often this is a better option for those wishing to convert from 8v engine cars however there is no significant power advantage over the TU5J4 unit. After several developments, Pug1Off can boast an independently proven 196bhp from this build as seen below:-

The cost of this package as a drive in drive out service, based on a GTI / VTS, is £6100.00 (Including all parts, labour and VAT @ 20%)
*Customers without a suitable tubular exhaust manifold will need to convert at this stage for an additional fee of around £300 fitted.
*Customers may wish to consider additional extras such as lightening and balancing, an organic clutch, alloy bottom pulley (and mechanical spec camshafts and followers if used in motorsport).
*It is always a good idea to fit uprated driveshafts, limited slip differential and gearbox input shaft bearing as these tend to be the weakest link in these vehicles. Please contact us for more details.

PEUGEOT 106 GTI / CITROEN SAXO VTS 16v STAGE 5 TUNING
This is our full race engine package producing 205-210bhp @9000rpm on the standard crank, featuring the following:

The vehicle will be with us for 2-3 weeks, the build is also available in similar specification for the TU5JP4 C2 GT / VTS engine, often this is a better option for those wishing to convert from 8v engine cars however there is no significant power advantage over the TU5J4 unit.

*220bhp is possible using a billet crank and stronger cam profile POA.

*It is always a good idea to fit uprated driveshafts, limited slip differential and gearbox input shaft bearing
as these tend to be the weakest link in these vehicles. (Motorsport users may wish to consider
