Problème avec la direction assistée

Hello everyone
I have a problem with my Saxo power steering does not work, the hydraulic pump stopped working, the mechanic told me it was a relay that may have been burned but not what it is. You could help me before taking it to workshop?

My Saxo its a VTS 1.6i 90cv Fase 2, year 2000

j'ai un problème avec ma direction assistée de Saxo ne fonctionne pas, le travail arrêté de pompe hydraulique, le mécanicien m'a indiqué que c'était un relais qui peut avoir été brûlé mais pas ce qui est il. Vous pourriez m'aider avant de le prendre à l'atelier ?

In first, you can check the relay.
(The little cube grey shown by the yellow arrow in this picture)



You can exchange with any else from another saxo or 106.

Try it!

Ok I will do what you tell me, I found this ....it is the unique similar relay. It is this relay? it has some numeration?

You've got 2 grey relay i think...

The two are closed but one is attached to the fuses box (boite à fusibles), that's the one who's shown on the picture

the car has that relay near the hydraulic pump, over the pump and this only…. there is another relay in the box of fuses ..... but the relay of the hydraulic pump is the one of the photo? the relay that this in the fuse box, which system controls?

The form of this grey relay is particular: a cube on a cylinder.
You can found the same in any saxo/106 with an hydraulic assistance.
If you follow the wires, they are going to the pump.

Normaly it doesn't should be in the fuse box; sometimes it is attached outside the box (see my 1st picture).

Yeah im a genius .... jajaja thanks very much for the info, now i will go to buy the relay because here, where i live, are very few of this car and 106.

I hope that it is only the relay the bad one .... its the 8

Ok, I just to compare in the citroen service website, I have the same reference with you on my two saxos. (6555VL).

At the end to buy the raly and probe it.... not worked so I look at all the cables and I found a loose connector, pressed it and worked the pump.
That I should do from the beginning... Luckily it was nothing serious because buying the pump costs about U$820 here in my country (new)
